Traveling is always exciting and bothersome at the same time.
Especially, traveling to an area you don’t know very well is bound to be accompanied by some anxiety.
So let’s all start by taking care of the most important supplies at the start of the trip.
Let’s take a look at each one, from passports to weather and transportation.
Checklist when you visit Korea
Visa : Korea allows many countries to visit with a passport without a visa if it is for tourism purposes. When these citizens who are eligible for entry without a visa want to enter the country, they must obtain the Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA).
Please click here and see if it’s the country and what the procedures are.
Recommended Itineary : I’ve made a recommended schedule. Please click here.
Transportation from the airport to Seoul : Traveling to Korea can be said to be the same as coming to Seoul. Seoul itself has enough attractions, and it is convenient to put Seoul at the center and consider the schedule when moving to other regions.
So, I would like to guide you on how to come to Seoul from Incheon International Airport, which is the first thing you need to do when you come to Korea. Click the link here.
Hotel : I’ve organized the hotels to recommend considering travel style and budget area. It doesn’t have to be a hotel in Myeong-dong(famous for tourist). Click the link here.
Travel insurance : Korea is a safe country, but just in case. Korea’s medical service is cheap and among the best in the world, but it’s not cheap for foreigners. If you have to go to the emergency room, it will cost you at least 100 to 200 dollars, so I think it’s a good idea to sign up.

Travel Budget : Korea is cheaper than other advanced countries, but it is still expensive. (Similar to Japan)
If you think about a economical trip, about 50 dollars a day would be enough for transportation and three meals. I think 100 dollars would be enough. You can take a taxi for a short distance. Of course, this is except for the cost of accommodation.
Korea Rail Pass: If you’re planning to visit Busan and Gyeongju, I highly recommend KORAIL Pass. It’s really beneficial because you can ride other trains with Korean bullet train ktx round-trip fare. Click the link here.
Public transportation card in Seoul (T-Money) : I think the subway is essential for traveling to Seoul. You can go almost anywhere you want. Using a T-Money card is convenient, but it is also economical because you do not have to pay for the transfer within 30 minutes. However, the transportation fee in Seoul is cheaper, so I recommend buying it for convenience rather than economy.
